I remember those times in grade seven, I would hide, bribe and do all the things you could imagine just to miss IT classes.GOD! I hated it. The idea of me getting into the lab and not being ready with an assignment or not knowing how to create a simple folder or even boot the computer just got me bored all the time. But I couldn't blame myself for that anyway...I didn't get it from scratch and being amongst "familiar" students was something else....However, my first meeting with Miss Regina and her assistants for a coding classes just made me rethink....I mean, Ive got something to do ...Ive got something to offer..And really coding is fun..is simple ...I mean just writing the language of the computer such that you understand what you are writing is such an amazing experience. At least for now I have created a mini website.."my website" which will be in the cloud soon.. so watch out the "curious". Right now I am blogging and I bet it is wonderful...From the little experience I have gained, I have realized one thing that I would like to advocate about..that TECHNOLOGY is no man's world..rather, it is for all. For our upcoming future leaders and "our" children in school, I will suggest if they are taught coding and computer programming in general form scratch so they become "good" at it at a tender age especially "our" young girls. When I look at how far I have come today in the TECHNOLOGY world, I just feel grateful. To Zawdi Africa Education Fund, Miss Regina Agyare and all the TECH NEEDS GIRLS, I say Thank you!
